Our dad Thomas died on 21st August 2002 age 47
He died suddenly whilst on holiday so the worst part was we never got chance to say goodbye.
He is missed by many especially his mum and dad brother and sister, partner and his 4 children and 6
grandchildren 1 of which he never got to meet as i was pregnant at the time of his passing.
Our lives were turned upside down that day as he was the nicest man you could ever wish to meet and
the bestest dad in the whole world. He was always there for you through the good times and the bad
and always knew what to say to make everything better.
Dad we all miss you so much but know you were too good for this world and have been taken from us
for a reason. I just wish we got more time with you so you could have watched your grandchildren
grow up and they could have got to know you like we do.

Quite often in life we never know why we lose someone
and when it happens people dont realise how much we miss them until they are gone .
you sometimes dont need to have known someone personally to realise how kind a person was
and through other peoples experience's and words you simply know its true because.
when words are still kind and heartfelt to comfort your grieving heart and ease the pain
the loss is never any less but words bring hope and eternal gain
words help and offer support in times of sadness

Dad cant beleive its been six years xx
Hi Dad i know i dont come on this site much but i thought i would come for a little chat today as its been six years since you left us.
People say it gets easier with time but i dont think thats true i think you just learn to live with it, probably because we have no choice. I dont think i will ever accept you have been taken away from us so soon, it just doesnt seem fair.
When i see girls with there dads and children with there grandads i just feel so cheated and cant understand why you had to leave us.
You were the greatest dad in the whole world and i knew it was too good to be true. There is so much i miss about you your laughter and jokes your kind and caring ways your understanding and your company. But one thing that really hurts is you not meeting ellie she is so like you in her ways you would have loved to wind her up and play jokes on her and i know she would have loved doing the same to you she is such a character. Also i know you got to meet kenzie and the rest of your grandchildren but its a shame that they were prob too young to remember you properly its just so sad for them that they are missing out on such a great person.
Ill never forget that day i try not to think about it but its hard not to when your anniversary comes around i find myself lying in bed reliving it all and it feels like it has just happened its very strange. Me and mark were talking about you the other night and it was nice coz mark remebered things about you that i had forgotten and it made me realise how much mark misses you too.
If that was you sat on my sofa the other night when i turned around im sorry i jumped but i got such a shock i thought mark had come back down coz i just saw this figure of a man sat on my settee but as quick as i saw it it was gone but when i thought about it, you was buried in your blue shirt and this figure was wearing a blue top so i hope it was you paying me a little visit and i bet you laugh at me at night coz as soon as i switch lights out i run to bed and wont look back at the sofa lol. I would love to see you again but think it would be very hard to let you go again.
Well i hope your looking down on us all and keeeping us safe as you would have done if you was still here. I miss you so much dad and hope one day i will be able to live my life normally without you and accept that you will never be coming back. All my love hugs and big kisses love Emma xxxx
